A strategic marketing plan aligns marketing goals and strategies across all of an organization’s marketing channels, including digital marketing channels, direct mail, advertising purchases, earned media through public relations (PR), and more. I work with nonprofit organizations and social enterprises to create and help implement their strategic marketing plans.
A marketing content strategy helps organizations reach their target audiences through engaging content, including blogs, website landing pages, social media posts, email newsletters, YouTube videos, podcasts, and more. As a consultant, I work with nonprofit organizations and social enterprises to develop, implement, evaluate, and modify content strategies.
A giving day is typically a 24-hour period in which nonprofit organizations try to reach ambitious fundraising goals by creating a sense of urgency with donors. I’ve worked with dozens of organizations to plan, implement, and evaluate the success of giving days like Giving Tuesday and local giving days.
I work with nonprofits, social enterprises, and businesses to host charitable events that engage current and prospective supporters. From designing the concept of the event to targeting specific attendee audiences to coordinating vendors to gaining earned media coverage through public relations (PR) to evaluating event metrics, I partner with clients from beginning to end during the event planning process.
In a healthy nonprofit organization, the board of directors is engaged in the fundraising (development) strategy. I work with nonprofit leaders to train their boards on how to support their organization’s development strategy in a meaningful, non-intimidating manner.
I lead speaking engagements and workshops to help nonprofit leaders grow professionally in their marketing skills.
